Ralph Massillon is an Associate Pastor at the Haitian Baptist Church (HBCL) of Lynn, Massachusetts. Born in Manhattan, NY of Haitian immigrant parents, Ralph’s early childhood unfolded in the Greater Boston area. Ralph gave his life to Christ at the tender age of 10 during the 7 years he spent in Haiti. As a youth, he was active in church ministries and activities. As a young adult, he committed himself to Gospel ministry, juggling youth ministry, teaching Sunday school and a busy speaking schedule. Over the years, his interest in the Lord’s ministry grew and became a burning passion, one so blazing that he decided to pursue Theological studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary following his undergraduate studies at Tufts University. Ralph has worn many hats along his ministerial journey: Bible Teacher, Biblical Counselor, Theology Instructor, Youth Ministry Director, Young Adults Ministry Director, translator and Pastor-Teacher. Pastor Ralph has been married to his wife, Rebecca for over 32 years and together they are proud of their three bright and handsome sons: Danny, David and Stephen.
Ralph is an avid reader, enjoys sports and experiences the greatest joy in the privilege of teaching God’s Word. A bi-vocational minister, just like the apostle Paul who built tents and ministered the gospel, when Ralph isn’t devoting time to family or ministry, he holds a management position at Christianbook, LLC.
Victor Valdoni, Associate Pastor of the Haitian Baptist Church of Lynn, was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti. His younger years were spent between Port-au-Princes and the City of Cayes, his mother’s hometown. He was born again when he was about 21 years old and grew in the faith under such leaders as Rev. Dr. Claude Noel and Rev. Dr. Edner Jeanty. He spent years ministering at the Evangelical Church of Nazon as a youth leader and a member of the church leadership board. He collaborated with Dr. Claude Noel both at the Evangelical Church of Nazon and the Council of the Evangelical Churches of Haiti (CEEH) until his immigration to the United States. To answer the call for ministry and better prepare himself for the Lord’s field, he attended Ecole Evangelique de la Bible, then Trinity Seminary. Later, he pursued further graduate study at Salem State University in the field of education, especially with a focus on second language acquisition and linguistics. He’s been a pastor at the Haitian Baptist Church of Lynn since 1990 and an educator through the Lynn Public Schools for over thirty years. Besides teaching and preaching, he has been the point person for Sunday School and Mission at the HBCL. He and his wife Rose Mireille are the parents of two children: Marvin and Blessie (Abby).
In addition to his familial and pastoral duties, Victor enjoys traveling occasionally and driving.
